Reported Battle at Nauvoo.? ?y tlie steamer Ocean Wave, which arrived here yesterday, we learn that a messenger arrived at Warsaw ahout 11 o'clock on Fri#1qit ^ ~ v.?,j cvciiiiig, a. ic w minutes oeiore , she left, who stated that a battle i had taken place about 3 o'clock < that afternoon near Nauvoo, v\ hich 1 lasted two hours, and in which from "twelve to fifteen men were killed and wounded. 1 he particu- ] lars, so far as they could be ascertained, are, that on Friday the Nauvooites, hearing that the ant.i- ^ muniiuiis were un nit; uittrcii iu their city, marched out to the number of from three to five hundred, and posted themselves at the distance of about one mile east of the temple, having an open plain in front, ani tan extensive corn lie Id 1 in the rear, their line being formed near and parallel with the j fence.
