A MALARIOUS MONTH-March, that gives us a new President, is also tho inaugural month of many harrassing disorders. Entangled in its fogs are tho seeds of eoughs, colds, nnd of that alternation of frigidity and lire, moro widely known than admired, called fever and ague. The only way to avoid these "little unpleasantnesses," is to render the system stroug enough to tight off tho atmospheric poison that produces them, and tho host way to endow it with this repellent power is to tone it with HOSTE PTE R'S STOMACH BIT? TE KS. If a way-faror were credibly informed that a ruf? fian was waiting at the next corner, he would doubtless turn in his tracks, and take a safer routo to his destination. With just about tho same amount of trouble, the attacks of diseases preva? lent at this season may bo evaded. Nay, the trou blo will bo less, for drug stores lie iu every ono's routo, and overy respectable druggist in tho Union keeps on hand HOSTETTER'S BITTERS. Tho article is a staple of trade, and it would bc as easy to find a grocery without sugar, as tho storo of an apothecary without this popular tonic re? medy. In view of tho experience of thc nation with regard to the article, during tho spaco of twenty vears, it seems almost unnecessary to recapitu? late its merits to Americans. Rut aa our popula? tion is increasing at the rate of '2,000,000 a year, in the natural way and by immigration, it may be as well to hint tn the ribing generation and new arrivals, (the old settlers know all about il,) that HOSTE I'TER'S STOMACH BITTERS is thc most wholesome and potent vegetable tonic ever manu? factured; that it is a specific for dohility, dyspep? sia, biliousness, and miasmatic fevers; that it prevents, ns well as cures, these complaints and theircomplicatione; that it is not "had to take," and in absolutely harmless.
