The Wonderful Art Entertainment. : Professor Cromwell's Art Entertainment at Hibernian Hall last night was witnessed as usual by a large audienoe. Tbe subject of the entertainment was "Italy, the Art Laid," a d the intelligent audience was highly pleased. We nave been frequently oalled on to notice en- I tertainments of thm style, but never one we j could more conscientiously commend than I j thoae of Professor Cromwell From among ten ihonaaod.atereoacopio pictures, the Pr of ea- j sor has seleo.ed thoae displaying the leading characteristics of the various classic countries, I and presar 'a them with wonderful fidelity. I The eye and the mind aro not wearied by al Bimilantv of Boones, as is often tho case in I panoramas and mast lc-kn tern exhibitions, but there ls a most happy transformation "from grave to gay, from lively to serene." Should wa enter into iotaila (for the Professor 1B cos- I ' mopohtanin hts exhibitions) we could mt fail I to notice particularly bis illustrations of Eng- I lieh, Boman, Parisian. andBhonish Boonery, which bring renewed delight to those who I bare looked upon the original, and convey to those who have never been abroad a better I idea than they could otherwise obtain ol all I that is attractive in a foreign tour. Half the I proceeds ot the entertainment last night were I given to the Lee Monument Fund. ' Owens. I The seats for the Owens nights are going off rapidly and there ia every probability of a Jam to-morrow evening.
