DIKD?About 10 o'clock last night at his home in the Harmony section of York county following a long period of ill health, Mr. JAM MS S. GLASSCOCK, in the 6Sth year of his age. Interment was in the cemetery at Ncely's Creek at 2:30 this afternoon, following funeral services conducted by his pastor. Rev. O. W. Carmichael assisted by Rev. A. S. Rogers, D. D? pastor of Rock Hill A. R. 1'. church and Rev. W. Frank lMttman, pastor of Harmony Baptist church. Mr. Glasscock was born and reared in the section of Catawba township in which he died. All of his life had been, spent there. He was well known over York county, having served the county two terms in the house of representatives. He was extensively engaged in farming operations and he long enjoyed a reputation for being one of the mosl successful farmers in York county. He was a director in the I 'copies' National Rank of Rock Hill and an elder in Neely's Creek A. it. P. church. He is survived by his widow, who before her marriage to him was Miss Fannie MeFadden. and nine children. The children are: Mrs. M. V. Allen, Rock Hill; Miss Minnia Cilasseock.
