FORD PRODUCING 4,000 CARS A DAY Present Production Greater Than for Same Period Last Year, Ford is building cars at full speed. And, according to .an official statement from the factory at Detroit, the demand for Ford cars and trucks still exceeds the output, despite the fact that a new high level of production has been reached. By the first of May the figures representing daily production were in the neighborhood of 4,000 a day, so the May schedule was set at 101,125 cars and trucks, not including the output of the Ford Canadian plant or any of the foreign assembling plants. The output mounted daily: May 12th brought forth 4,092, the greatest number that have been produced in one day so far this year. Since the month has 25 working days, present indications point to a new high record. A comparison of. Ford production figures for 1920 and 1921 disclose the fact that for April, 1921,. the output was greater by 3T.5.14 than for the corresponding month of a year ago. The output for May, .1921, will probably Tbf/itf 1 O 4)fl hottuonn flf. uvciauauuu W. , teen and. twenty . thousand cars and trucks. Nearly Twenty-two Years Ago IT WAS IN JULY". 1899. nearly twenty-two years ago, that I made my first contract to represent the Mutual Benefit Life Insurance Co., as Local Agent. I had had some previous experience in life insurance, ?^nd was fairly well posted on the contracts, business methods, records as to service and square dealings with policy holders, etc., and chose the Mutual Benefit because I was convinced that although it paid its Agent smaller commissions than any other company it GUARANTEED its policy holders MORE and each one whom I insured would be a booster, and incidentally a sub-agent, without pay. Subsequent developments have more than justified.my expectations. Every policy holder is entirely satisfied and there are several hundred of them. The large majority have more than one policy?some as many as 4, 5 and 6, and one has ten, taken out at different times, in some instances there being as many as 21 years between the taking out of the first and last. IF YOU should happen to know a Mutual Benefit policy holder ask him what HE thinks about the Company. I have a list of more than 500 in York county. It is too long to publish, but you are at liberty to examine it and select any number you care to and ask for opinions. Look Before You Leap! SAM M. & S. E. GRIST Peoples Bank & Trust Co., Bldg.
