Dr. Moffatt is a distinguished preacher and can command a handsome salary in the pulpit. Witherspoon, manager of the Witherspoon Furniture company, committed suicide yesterday by drinking carbolic acid at his home on East liberty street. A four ounce vial which had contained carbolic add and a tumbler were by his side. Mr. Witherspoon was 4f> years old and had many friends who were shocked at his death.
