CARROLL BROS. Newspaper Readers Are more or iess familiar with the Insurance scandals uncovered fay the investigation in New Tork last year. On the recommendation of the committee that conducted the investigation radical changes were made by the New Tork legislature which was in session for several months in the early part of this year, to become effective January 1. 1907. To comply witn this law every life company doing business In South Carolina today, except the Mutual Benefit, will be forced to make radical changes In most of its policies and business methods if it continues to do business in New York after January 1. The Mutual Benefit will continue without charging a word in any of its policies or making any change in its methods of doing business. The new law is intended to protect every Interest of the policy holder and that Is what the Mutual Benefit has been doing since the day It was organized in 1846, and that is why it la recognized all over the United States as being the best company and writing the best policy for the policy holder.
