The increase of live stock in Australia has
so outgrown the requirements of the popula
tion that an influential meeting of squatters of
the Riverine districts was held at Bemliquin
in May, at which it was resolved to establish at
May, on the Murrumbidgeo, a joint stock es
tablishment capable of boiling down ten thou
sand sheep a week.
