In 1840, with her parents, Albert and Susannnh Robins, emigrated to this county. She professed reigion n the full of 1843, and attached lerself to the Cumberland Presbyterian 3hurch. She was married to Mr. Cope and March the l(Jth, 184*7. During a ong niul painful illness the deceased nanifested great fortitude. And when ully sensible of her approaching dissoution, nono who saw her will ever forget ho almost superhuman serenity of her onntenance; her confidence in the goodicss of God, and particularly the melo ly of her voice, as sho spoke of her jlesscd Saviour, into whose presence she vas impatient to fly, and when the dark noment of her death arrived, Jesus with ruling face breathed immortality into ?er departing.
