Wright, the notes and accounts of the firm of Harris & Wright, as he is not the proper one, I say it was very unjust in him in so doing, as I furnished all the funds that star ted the firm, with the assistance of Col. W. S. Chalmners as my surety. The conditions of the firm Iwere, I purc-hased a stock of goods from Henry Hlalfaecre, to the amount of 9777 and some cents, and J. Y. Halrris was to put in the same amount in money, which he did not do, ad never did put in one dallar. Now who has the right to settle the firm ? The debt still hangs over me and my surety, to be paid. J..Y. Harris has received as much or more of the assets of the firm than I have. I have employed a lawyer and stated the facts to him, in every partieular, and the law shall settle the whole-matter.
