Our advice is to take Vinol, our n delicious cod liver and iron preparal tion without oil, and get your strength | and vitality back quickly. Mrs. A. A. Grabill, of Strasburg, Ya. says: "Grippe left me weak, run r* down and' with a severe cough, from e which I suffered four years. I tried different remedies, but nothing seemed e to do me any good until I took Vinol, if from which I received great benefit. Q My cough is almost entirely gone, and I am strong and well again, and I am glad to recommend Vino! to others 8 who suffer as I did." " Try Vinol with the certainty that if it does not benefit if you we will give back your money. HArvMUjN DJttUlx UUfllFAWX. * AN UNSUCCESSFUL FARMER. 8 He Made Monev But It Did Not Do Him Much Cood. y The Progressive Farmer says that it once had a letter from our friend, Oapt J. 0. Stribbling, of South Carolina, in > which he told us about a money-mak, ing farmer be knew. This farmer a had accumulated more than $100,000 ? and he had made it all farming and uotTlnnp TT7mo/^Q f*Arv\ fV?o foi*w oa > w iiuu nt niuut il vjin tut laiuii b The man had not done better farmr ing than other farmers about him, but ^ he saved everything he made. A a "good friend to me and others," Capf. Stribbling described him, "but an enemy to himself and family." Not that he was a bad man, but merely what we sometimes call a "close" man. His children rOv-eived but little education and saw but little of the world. Other ' farmers in the neighborhood contri1 buted to the building of churches and school houses, this man loaned money to contribute. Others spent money | for new seeds, improved implements and better stock; this man did not; 4 K A nn tfA/) 1%1 A AM ATT AM/1 TM T r. 4 AM 9 uo gavcu mi muuoj aim wucu uiisiurT tune came to others he still gathered ? in the interest on his loans and kept . that, too. r A money-making farmer he was, but he was not a successful farmer, for the simple reason that he neglected the r essentials of life in his eagerness to - gather more money. Such farmers would never build up a community or promote the prosDerity and welfare of I a State. Capt. Stribbling in his letter well described the kind of ,men who must be depended on to do these things?men who improve their land and premises; breed and use good stock; lookout for improved seed9, implements and methods; who send tbeir sods and daughters to college or training schools; who farm with their own money, and who believe in plain living and high thinking. A man can be successful without, making a great deal of money; he can make a great deal of money without being successful. So we beg to remind every reader that, desirable as it is that he make money out of his farming the coming year, it is even more desirable that he devote the money he makes to such use as will ben- li' his^farnilv and his community, and char. Mm keep always in mind the fact that money is a good thing only so far as it is used for good p^po^es.
