Of the approximately 2,200 persons on board the gianl steamer, some of world-wide promi nence, only 675 are known to have been savtd. The White Star Line offi ces in New York, while keeping up hope to the last, were free to admit there had been "horrible loss of life." Accepting the early estimates of the fatality list as accurate, the disastei is the greatest in the marine history oi the world. Nearest approaching it in magnitude were the disasters to the steamer Atlantic, in 1873, when 57^ lives were lost, and to La Bourgoyne, in 1898, with a fatality list of 571. Mrs. J. L. Starnes, Hickory, N. C, has in the past suffered severely witr throat and lung trouble, and says, "] used Foley's Honey and Tar Compounc for this and it gave me immediate satisfaction and relief. It gives me pleasure to recommend this preparation for sore throat, hoarseness, or any affliction of the throat or lungs. 1 know it will do all claimed for it." Kaufmann Drug Co. About Time to Move. "I sent you to youi uncle's for a long stay." 4T know you did," Willie replied; "but you see, it was this way.
