Ocilla, Ga., May 13.?Having claim ei that he could make paper from cotton stalks by a secret process, that his company in Atlanta desired to purchase certain machinery upon which it had an opfc:on with which to carry out its process, aud finally having secured the endorsement of a number of local citizens to notes of a large i amount in the year 1909, J. E. Green, of Atlanta, was today convicted the endorsers of these notes, in the city court here, they having been forced to pay the notes when they ca ne due, and having since learned that the alleged corporation capitalized for $500,000, which Green claimed to represent, was a fake concern Sentence has not been passed. AH Died Same Way. A most remarkable story comes from Huntington, W. Va. A dispatch from there says four sisters, all widows of railroad engineers killed in wrecks, will meet at the funeral of Engineer Thomas Pilcher of that city, who was killed zn a wreck on tae unespease and Ohio last Tuesday. Pileher was one of four engineers who married four sistors, the Misses Gamer of Albermarle county, Virginia. Each victim met his death in his cab; each wis the engineer cf a fast express train, and the fioeman of each wj s killed at the same time, though 110 passengers were hurt.
