At 6 o'elock the bridal party entered to the strains of the wedding march rendered by Prof. Wm. P. Steele, an uncle of the bride. The attendants entered in the following manner: Miss Ella Steele with Mr. Julian Sharpe; Miss Ella Price with Mr. Albert Steele; Miss Ada Williams with Mr. Lucius Bickley; Miss Jennie Bickley with Mr. Rudolph Oswald. The pretty flower girls, Geneva Smith and Minnie Steele, carried baskets of rose petals which they scattered in front of the bride and maid of honor, Miss Pearle Landrura of Aiken. The groom, accompanied- by his best man, Mr, H. Q. Steele, advanceddtrom the aide door and met the bride beneath a large snowy white bell. Rer. J. ?. Steele, ancle of the bride, performed the ceremony. Jus as the happy pair were leaving a shower of rose petals mysteriously fell from the bell upon them. The bride wore an exquisite gown of cream silk trimmed in pearl beading, while the veil was caught here and there with lillies of the valley. She carried a bonquet of white carnations. She wore a lovely brooch, the gift of the groom, and never looked fairer than on this happy occasion. The bridesmaids were prettily dressed in white and carried pink wands. The maid of honor wore a becoming dress of pink satin. The ushers were Aionzo Smith and 0. 0. Steele. A reception was given from 9 to 10 o'clock by Mr. and Mrs. Henry Steele, the bride's parents. The parlor, hall and diniDg room were decorated with trailing vines and ferns, the oolor scheme being white and green. After congratulations the large number of guests were invited into the dining room, where a bountiful supper was served. They received many handsome and useful gift9.
