She ras a daughter of George and Polly imith, and was married to Thomas ^ewis July 5, 1866. She was the aother of 14 children, 11 of whom are iving; 33 grand-childron, 27 living, 6 ead; 2 great grand-children. She v&8 a faithful wife, a faithful mother ,nd a faithful friend. She was a nember-of Black Creek Lutheran hurch, joining that body in early life, md was ever faithful in all her duties o her church.
