Mr. W. H. T5erie.y haa a very fine fiye-acre field of corn that is attracting a great deal of attention. It is estimated variously to make all the way from 75 to 100 bushels to the acre. However this may be, it is a fine piece of corn and shows conclusively what can be accomplished on poor sand when scientific methods are used. The rainy weather has played havoc with the fruit crop.
