Teachers who are now teaching in the free public schools of this county, and who do not hold certificates as required by law, should take notice of the following communication which was Bent me a few days ago: "In view of the failure of many teachers to comply with the law requiring certificates to teach in the free public schools, this board craeis an extra teachers' examination to be held on the 7th of January, 1910." Blizzard Sweeps South Dallas, Tex., Dec. 18.?With the thermometor hovering around the | zero mark throughout Texas, the South and Southwest is in the grasp of the worst blizzard of the winter. Snowfall varying from a half to three : inches is reported from almost every direction. Other points are reporting cold rains and sleet. The blizzard ha3 | extended itself from Texas north through the Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee and at Memphis the heaviest fall of snow this year is reportedfl PENSION NOTICE.
