Legislative, I The legislature has not gotten down j to real hard work yet, although many j new bills have been introduced in i both houses. i It 9eems now that prohibition, the j lien law and compulsory education will receive the greater attention of both houses. Already a number of !-ulls have been introduced for a statewide prohibition law. The prohibitionists will hold a public meeting in Columbia tomorrow. The Lexington delegation has not been heard from yet, but this is no sign that they will not be heard from when important measures arise. They have all been assigned to committees and that they will do good work is not doubted. | Senator Crosson is on the following committeess: Agriculture, Dispensa| ry, Medical Affairs. Representative Amiek: Roads, Bridges and Ferries, Mines and Mining, Offices and Officers.
