A decided sensation has been created in this state by charges of wrong in the deal made between the Southern Life Insurance company and the Seminole Securities company. Some very prominent names are involved in the deal, and an investigation may show some ugly transactions. John Y. Garlington, the one who engineered the deal and the transfer of stock from the Southern to the Seminole, says he is ready for an investigation.
