Meridian, Miss., Sept. 18.?A special to the Dispatch from Sandersville, 50 miles south of Meridian, says: "Night riders have appeared in -Tnnps rnnntv and three nrominent farmers, living six miles east of here, received notices Monday night to haul no more cotton to gin, or else they would 'get paid' as they returned home. A general notice was also placed on the public roads warning all farmers to cease hauling cotton after September 14. Considerable excitement prevails and farmers near town are rushing their cotton in, while those farther away have ceased hauling to the gins." A Paying Investment. * Mr. John Wlrte, of 38 Highlandave., Honlton, Me., says: "Have been troubled with a cough every winter and spring. Last winter I tried many ad-, vertised remedie s, but the cough continued until I bought a 50c. bottle of Dr. King's New Discovery; before that* was half gone, the cough was all gone.
