Mrs. Fannie Shull, Thursday kindly sent us the amount of subscription for another year to the Dispatch. Hon. C. M. Efird, Col. M. D. Harman and Mr. W. P. Roof attended the funeral of Dr. W. H. Brodie and Miss Helen Bradford have arrived from Clemscn college, and will spend some time here. Mr. George M. Mr. R. D. Smith, the popular and very efficient book-keeper of the Lexington Savings Bank, has been quite sick at the borne of his parents in Leesville. His many friends here wish for him a speedy recovery. Dr. E. P. Derrick has returned from ?a few day rest at Glenn Springs. On Saturday he was the principal speaker at a big farmers' rally tatGaffney, and on Monday he addressed a like meeting at Union. On both occasions he was warmly received and roundly applauded. The citizens of the Dutch Fork will have an opportunity next Tuesdhy of going to Atlanta, Ga., and return for the low rate of $3.50.
