Beasley, of Currituck county, was called this o- afternoon in Pasquotank superior ty court, at Elizabeth City. The father 1g. of the missing boy was the first wit t,s ness, and by him the Stateestablished n- the motive?the feeling between Beas e, ley and Harrison oyer certain liquor .st legislation, which Senator Beasley in had promulgated in the general as[r. sembly. It was established also that in Hairison had made threats against tie Beasley. The State will endeavor to id show that he kidnapped the boy and ib afterward killed him, concealing the body. Kenneth Beasley disappeared mysteriously from Poplar Branch high school, in Currituck county, nearly ^ two years ago. The lad had permisn sion to go home at recess for lunch ar and started, but never reached home.
