That piece of road through Huckabaa swamp certainly needs attention and should be worked thoroughly in the dry season of the year. Corduroyed or graveled in the wet or springy places. Tbe great trouble comes from the bat k river water covering the road bed and it is difficult, in wet seasons, to keep the road in good traveling condition. Our roads will all finally have to be worked by taxation, for people, it seems, will not do their duty on the roads. Sales Pay. There wen a good number of oitiZ9ns from various sections of the county in town Monday. The boards of control, registration and county commissioners were in session on routine work. And tbe sale of some j valuable land drew tbe crowd. The Clerk sold the James Frank' ' ? - J OO /\n Paq T?irlrrO | iiu ^iauo ui ^u at'ics uu jl vu uiugvj to Samuel P. Roof, for $620.
