Smallpox is authoritatively reported to be alarming the citizens of the npper part of Pickens county. Congressman Lever has introduced a bill in congress to erect a monument to Gen. The interment took place in St. Stephen's cemetery, Lexington, S. * C , in the presence of a reverent and sympathizing company of relatives and friends. Pastor J. G.
