Libor controversies are still the most disturbing factors in the situation, and it is difficult to anticipate bow far distribution of merchandise will be effected. Structural material of all kinds is moving slowly because of strikes in the buildiDg trades, which are cow exercising more widespread iuflue-nce than other disagreements. At the east the trade situation is satisfactory as a rule. R hi way earnings thus far reported for May were 12 8 per cpnt. larger than last year, and surpassed those of 1901 by 25 6 per cent. Nominally the average of quota tions for cotton goods is higher than a week ago, bat actually the situation is scarcely altered. An artificial situation exists as to cotton goods that is complicated by labor controversies and by the weather. Failures this week number 206 against 194 last year. Chamberlain's Colic, Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy. Is everywhere recognized as the one remedy that can always be depended upon and that is pleasant to take. It is especially valuable for summer diarrhoea in children and is undoubtedly the means of saving the lives of a great many children each year. For sale by The Kaufmann Drug Co. Two Thousand Killed.
