Murray, W. A. Clark, W. B. Lowrance, E. W. Robertscn and John C. Haskell. Col. J. C. Haskell was elected president and Dr. W. J. Murray treasurer pro tern. Twenty per cent, of the capital was called for, in order that the company may receive a charter and the directors have the authority to add two to their number. The company proposes to start business at once. The Alabama Strike Settled. Birmingham, Ala , Oct. 15.?The strike at the coal mines of the Tennessee Coal, Iron and Railroad company, which has been in full force for the past 10 days, was settled at noon today and 4,500 men will resume work at once.
