L)brand died at his home in this county last "Wednesday, May 31st, 1890, in the 81st pear of his age. He was an upright honest man of God whose walk and conversation marked him as one who had made bis peace with his creator. A.t the breaking out of the Cival war he was among the first to respond to the call of his State and served her through the entire war faithfully and with conspicious bravery.
