The fire , liad made too much headway t when discovered to be checked, < not only the dry goods store of 1 Mr Creed but his grocery adjacent, and about seven other frame auildings were consumed. Only two buildings were left on the East side of Main street in the ausiness portion of the town, viz: the postoffice, and the store of \Jr H W Mobley.
