JohuFoii, passed away at her borne near Franklin on Wednesday night last. After Miss ShaDer's very admirable address, which made a very profound impression upon the people, the ladies of the com munity organized themselves into a branch of the Woman's Chris tian Temperance Uniou by the election of MrA Hugh Wates, president; Mrs. J. T. Littlejohn, vice-president ; Miss Alma Ham mond, corresponding secretary; Mrs. Maggie McDauiel, recording secretary and Mrs. O.J.Holmes, treasurer.
