Cold Spring. LaBt Wednesday at three o'clock at the beautiful country home of Mr. aijd Mrs. P.P. Doolittle, Mr. Gus Winn and Miss Helm Doo little were married by their pas tor, Rey. J. T. Littlejohn. Many were the beautiful and valuable presents received by this popular young couple. There wa.-t a delight ful dinner served late ?D the after noon. Mr. and Mrs Gus Wi un start life with a bright future be fore them. Thursday afternoon last, at the home-of the bride's father Mr. Nat Robertson, Mr. Georg9 Strom and Miss ' A.Iice Robertson were married. Rev. J. T. Littlejohn j i performing the ceremony. They also received many and useful presents and start life with bright prospects Jor success and happi ness. Mr. Editor, there are two more couples in this community who will join hand and^heart for life in a few weeks. Plum Branch has become quite a business place. Several new residences have been built in the last few months. Mr. F. B. Thomas sent Rose Cottage last week some nico back bone and spare-ribs. Many thanks Rev. P. B. Mitchell, of Page ville, visited uRose Cottage last week. Messrs. Ernest Quarles and T. E. Wood are visiting friends in Greenwood. Miss Mary Cheatham is spend ing some days in Greenwood with friends and relatives. Mr. Ernest Quarles is having a new store house built. A large congregation worshipped at Antioch yesterday. Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Thomas, from, Stars 8. C. are visiting their parents this week. Mr. Floy Graves and Misses Violla and Nellie Broddie are visi ting friends in Amity, Ga., this week. ?
