Karnes, Wednesday, Sept. 27, 1922, when their sister, Miss Katherine Waddell Scott," became the bride of Rev. A. E. Dallas, of Rockingham, N. C. The ceremony > was performed by Rev. L. E. The entire lower floor was thrown together and was elaborately decorated with goldenrod, clematis and ferns. As guests arrived they were met at the door by the hostess and ushered into the reception hall where punch was served by Mrs. R. S. Dower, under a beautiful yellow canopy draped with clematis. The guests then assembled in the living i room where a musical program was J rendered by Mrs. W. B. Fuqua and! Mr. E. S. Jones while the bridal procession was forming.
