Erskine lost a very exciting game ' to Furman at Anderson on Monday of this week by a score of 5 to 2. Up ' to the seventh inning the score stood 2 to 2. Furman had a lucky seven and ran in three more scores in theii half. Bay this Cigarette COTTON INFORMATION An Abbeville County farmer sold four bales of cotton to C. E. Wil liamson on Thursday. The first pass Mr. Williamson offered four points less than the farmer wanted for his cotton, and other tactics became necessary. Mr. Abbeville County farmer then commented on what a fin? looking man Mr. Williamson was and the bid was raised a point; and what style Mr. Williamson had and the bid was raised another point and so on until the desired four points was finally given for the cot ton.
