The tomb with its encircling snakes, typifying eternity, has, arous ed the keenest interest for genera tions, and many fanciful legend: have been related as to its origin anc the identity of him who rests undei the stone. Miss Bulloch says there has never been any mystery in hei famoly about the tomb. DENTIST GETS SENTENCE Charleston, June" 20.?In federa court today, Judge H. A. M. Smitl sentenced Dr. M. A. Woods, dentis of Columbia, convicted of violatinj the narcotic act, to $1,000 fine with costs and 18 months in the fed eral prison at Atlanta. Counsel for the defendant gav< notice of appeal, and Dr. Woods wq: released uder bond of $5,000, pend ing the outcome of the appeal. Dr Woods was found guilty severa days ago, and a motion for a nev trial was refused by Judge Smith who announced he would impose sentence today. The defendant wai charged with selling cocaine to tw< addicts under four counts.
