TUTT A / bi x 2' Mesdames Brown, Charles, Cheatham and Strom entertained at a ai beautiful reception at the home of Mrs. L. N. Brown in honor of Mrs. ^ L. W. Tutt, who is leaving for her 4 new home in Abbeville. The decorations were beautiful in ^ their simplicity. The mantles were banked in autumn leaves, smilax and ferns, vases of pink cosmos and w * w ferns, carriyng out a color scheme of pink, white and green. Punch was ? served on the porch. Charles gracefully led the ^ guests into the beautifully decorated dining room.r The table had as a decoration a beautiful center piece with cut-glass reflector and brass candlebra. Suspended from the veiling was a basket of pink cosmos and pink tulle streamers extended to the four sides of the table, carrying out the pink, white and green color scheme, unshaded candles adding a soft glow to the beautiful scene. Refreshments of cake and pink and white block cream were served. About forty five guests called during the afternoon and a delightful afternoon will long be remembered ?that of yesterday?by Mrs. Tutt's friends. As Mrs. Tutt was leaving to make her home in Abbeville, sne was presented with a beautiful basket of flowers.?McCormick Messenger. Mrs. Tutt*is the wife of Mr. L. W.
