Miss Margaret Cothran entertained at a pleasant card party Tuesday complimentary to Miss Antoinette Thomson, whose marriage to Mr. Joe Little will be the social event of next week. Twelve young people ^ather3d to do honor to the charming bride and spent their time in the enjoyment of several lively games of J cards. \ J After the games a salad course J with mint sherbert was served and at the close of the afternoon the bride-to-be was presented with a handsome piece of lingerie. The occasion was most pleasant! and was enjoyed by the following! young ladies: Miss Antoinette Thomson, Mrs. Willie Speed, Mrs. Wilson Johnson, Mrs. Goode Thomson, Jr.,! Mrs. W. The excitement of j hunting eggs, and many interesting j games were very much enjoyed. The feature was suggested by', dainty marshmellows and candy eggs accompanying the other refreshments. Every body had a good time' and departed feeling very grateful' to the hostess for the happy houraj together.
