TYtJUiiCBuajf, uaxx. ujlj X.VJLM ? TO JAMES MARTIN LAWSON. * Abbeville, S. C., Jan. 8, 1917. In regular session the Ministerial Association of Abbeville and vicinity passed the following resolutions offered by committee appointed at the previous session: We, the members of the Minister's Association of Abbeville, hereby re cord our profound sorrow at the loss of one whom we esteemed and venerated as a wise and valuable member. His personal traits of candor, integrity, and devotion to every good and righteous cause were conspicuous. His consistent life and Godly example as a follower of the meek and lowly Jesus as a minister * . of the glad tidings of salvation to a lost race, are worthy of commendation and of imitation. For his consecrated life and for his ardent and zealous pursuit and improvement of the opportunities set before him, we desire to give thanks to the grace of God. To his bereaved family we extend our deepest sympathy and for them we invoke the Father's love, the Master's intercession, and the Spirit's indwelling. Jas. L. Martin, M. R. Mrs. Lawson, his mother, was so firm in her decision that he should not have an opportunity to follow his brother's example, that she would not Yes, Gentlem< f Clean?C CLEAR You have to g< a reputation as , man?a SOVE Them All.
