WARDLAW. s a Mrs. Nannie White Ward law died n Tuesday night, 8th inst, at the v ome of her niece, Mrs. A. M. Srrith. v he was about 70 years of age. A'r.i. Vardlaw was a daughter of Mr. John t Thite, a pioneer merchant and t usiness man of Abbeville. She was ' sister of the late Capt. L W. White, nd of Messrs George and Charley Vhite of this city. ^ She married Mr. Andrew Wardlaw, 1 ut he died many years ago. She ad no children. f For many years she taught private chools in the city and a great many * f the younger people of the city at- * ended these schools at one time or nother. 1 She was a consistent member of ' he Presbyterian church. Her fun- l ral services be held in that church * his morning at 11 o'clock, conducted iy her pastor, Rev. H. W.
