CAROLINA BOY IS KILED IN FRANCE Spartanburg, S. C., September SO. ?Montague Nicholls, of this city, second lieutenant in the British avmy, was killed in France during the recent advance the British troops have attempted in that region, according to information received here tc-day from the British War Office in London. Judge George W. Nichc lis received the following message this morning: "Deeply regret to inform you that Second Lieutenant W. M. Nicholls, K. F^A., was killed in action between 26-27 September. Lord Kitchener expressed sympathy." tSUfhg Nicholls is an Annapolis man. He was wounded several i?:onths ago and had only recently returned to the front. Unable to Recover Body.
