Published every Wednesday at two dollars a a1 year In advanee. Wednesday, Sept. 22 1909. y ' Henrietta-A Good show. On last Tuesday night are of the best shows te visit the south in years was played. It was a clear, entertaining, well played, high caste preformance. Every actor in the play know his part and played It well. The two sons of the great Joseph Jefferson are chips from the old block. "Old nick" in the person of Mr. Joseph Jefferson was "it" when it comes to a wall street broker. He plays the part to perfection. Bertie "The Lamb", in the person of Mr, William Jefferson played his part of the fop and fool to such a degree that it seemed real and made one feel like going upon the stage and taking a stick to it. Miss Blanche Benton played the part of the widow with cunning grace. A remarkable coincidence .iinds itself illustrated in this 6liow. Years ago at the death of on actor, Mr Holland by name, Mr. Joseph Jefferson was consigned the duty of funeral arangements. Mr Jefferson went to a minister 011 Fifth |Ave. New York but was rebuffed with tho answer that actors could not be buried from that church. Mr. Jefferson then asked where he could secure the services of a minister who would help him. He was refered to "The Little Church Around the Corner" by the Fifth Ave, minister. To "The Little Church around the Corner" Mr. Jefferson 1 went and found there a minister with a heart. Thus the actors of entire country were drawn to thelittle church around the corner and to-day it onjovs the most enviable place in the galaxy af churches. A man cannot do anything great unless he has a great soul in him. The players ( who attend the Henrietta must be pretty good people, for they make a most splendid play. Miss Sallie Woodhurst and Miss Eva Williams, were shopping in the city JL ucouo%*. Mrs. John Bruce and her little daughter Mary, spent Saturday and Sunday with relatives at Sharon. Messrs Charlie King and Jimmie Woodhurst were the pleasant guest of Mr. Tom Able Snnday. Why run the risk of losing all when yon can insure so cheap.
