Todd, of White Stone Lithla Springs, has been elected President of the Troy OH Mill to take the place of Dr. D. P. Nell who has resigned the position. Dr. Nell proved a capable and efficient president and many regret that his other duties have | forced him to sever his connection with the mill. Mr. Todd Is an experienced man and is president of ten mills in different parts o: the county. In A Serious Condition. Mr. W. G.Chapman was taken to Atlant a, last Monday morning, suffering from some Internal derangment. His physician and Mrs. Chapman went with him to the hospt tal for treatment. Hlo widow and their eight children survive. The sons h. W. and L. M. Shaw, live In Florida. The daughters live In South Carolina. Mrs. Alewine and Miss Samuella Shaw at \bbevllle; Mrs. W. L. Mitchell at Honea Path ; Mrs. R. S. Haney at Anderson; Miss Endora Shaw, who Is at home. Mr. Shaw Joined the Baptist Church In 1857, and for nearly thirty years he served the congregation as deacon, and his life and character adorned the religious faith which he professed.
