That we call upon all good citizens of tho coun'y to give their support and encouragement to our various ex-j / ecutive officers in their effor's to enforce the aforesaid law, aud to see to it that those oflieers who will noi do their duty, arc removed fr"m office and their places filled *>y ihose that will, and that they furnish to the Magistrates of the county affidavits upon which they may issue their warrants lor the arrest of viola'ors of the law, coming to their knowledge. Third. That 'lie county papers be requested to publish this resolution. It was brought to the at'en tion of the meeting bv magis trate Caskey that Magistrates are powerless to act in v ola tions of law except upon atlidavits upon which to base their warrants of arrest. It was brought to the attention of the meeting that the lThice Law" was now being attacked in the U S. Courts and that in the event of this law being declared unconstitutional it was probable that the dispensary would be re-opened in this and other counties, on motion duly carried the officers of the Lanoastkk County Anti Imp <>n Lkauuk were authoriz ed and instructed to take such necessary steps as appeared best to prevent the re-opening of the dispensaries in Lancaster county. On motion duly carriethe ollicers of the Letigue were instructed to appoint committees throughout the county to look after violations of the law atid prosecute violators of it. On motion duly carried tin enrollment of members of the League was made and the Secretary repotted thirty one (31} as having enrolled as members. It being brought to the at tention of the mee'ing the necessity of having some funds in the Treasury to be used by the ollicers in bringing abou! v i?\ v ? ' J ? V ?
