Oh, well, if every week was as oc 1- :* juui i ao va\.aiiun WC^, 11 wouldn't be any time until Christmas! Some of our good folks haven't forgotten their vacations, and where they went. Mk.. and Mrs. Melvin Hugiiey, Charles Brookshire and Tony Hooper vacationed at Myrtle Beach. Miss Polly Brazil and Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Bagwell and daughters spent several days at Myrtle Beach. Pfltcv HpnHorcnn o TTir-l Baker attended camp with the Bluebirds at Camp Buckhorn. Jimmy Barker, Jerry Wilkie, Tony Hooper and Jimmy Smith spent a week at Camp Old Indian. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Allman took a rather extended vacation. Two weeks, in fact. They and their two sons visited in Arizona, Louisiana and California. Mrs. Ozzie Cooper, of Pelzer, who was visiting in Arizona, returned home with them. Mr. and Mrs. Coloman fan ble and children spent several days in the mountains of North Carolina. Miss Sandra Meadors visited Mr. and Mrs. Tom Chandler in Augusta. Mrs. Sam Owens spent vacation week in Wilmington, Del., with Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Blackwelder. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Kinard and Jimmy spent several days with Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Campbell in Tucker, Ga. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Hughes and family visited Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hughes in Fairfax. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Hughes attended the wedding of Mrs. Hughes' niece, Miss Lucille Holtzclaw, in Greer. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Fowler spent several days at Lake Greenwood. Mrs. Leila Smith, Mrs. Blanche Creswell and Mrs. Evans Lever and children attended a camp meeting at ' Beech Springs. We welcome Larry Cauble, J Raymond Lawrence and Donald Jackson as newcomers into our big No. 2 family. i Glad to report that Mrs. Henrietta Dover is able to be back at work after undergoing major surgery at Newberry hospital. At the time of this writing Mrs. Inabell Hooper is recuperating at home after under- J going treatment at Greenville General hospital. Charles Oxner suffered a severe head injury in a wreck near Conway July 30. He is recuperating at home. Mrs. Ursula Blakely is ill at her home. Mrs. Alice Kuykendall has been ill but is back at work.
