J., on November 23. Mrs. Willis before her marriage was Miss Mildred Gregory. We have quite a few birthdays this month. Raye Shelton had one November 28 and Sam Owen on the 27th Daisey Cothran observed hers December 6 and Clarence Motes December 10. Katherine Smith will have one December 17, Mickey McAllister on December 22. Earl Motes December 24 and Rita Shelton. December 24. Albert Cothran will have one December 16 and the Fred Sheltons will celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary December 24. Strick land of Pelzer spent Thanksgiving with Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Taylor on Davis Street. Mrs. Mae Strickland and her son. Junior, are making their home with Mr. and Mrs. Llovd Taylor. Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Sexton spent a few days with ivir. ana mrs. l;. l.. tsrasweil. Mrs. Heaton, who has been out ill for several weeks, is working again and we are mighty glad to have her back. Christine Taylor also has a birthday December 8. We worked, of course, but we really enjoyed a wonderful dinner afterwards at Lydia in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Willie Cannon. It was a celebration of Willie's birthday as well as Thanksgiving, and all the Cannons and VlUWt-S WCIC piL'St'Ill JUI a most enjoyable occasion. Everyone in Weave Roorr No. 2 is watching with much interest the work of the construction crews who are working on the new mill addition. We are wondering how long it will be before it is finished. We are glad to report that Miss Nellie Osborne is getting along fine after an operation at Havs hospital November 19. We hope she soon will be back at work with us. William Dunaway's wife, Mrs. Pearl, underwent surgery in Spartanburg November 19 and is reported doing splendidly. Our congratulations to the Glidv Holmes on the birth of a daughter.
