Mr. H . B Hendricks, of Pickens,
has received from Mr. John
G. Caper's, the following letter
which he asic lis to publish, calling
for a meetingof the Republican
party in thiscounty. The
letter follows.

Dear Sir:?It will be established,
when the next Republican
Nat ional ('on v??nt ion meets, that
-there is no Republican Organization
in t he State of South Carnlin.-i

zation, through a State Central
(Committee, or a State Executive
Committee, which may have existed.
has now ceased to exist
and the necessity for party reorganization
is apparent.
Where no part v organization
exists in a newly civated state
of I he Union, or when; a party
organization lias erased, under
th<- parly law, to perform its
I unctions, the Republican National
Committee recognizes
what is called the mass meeting
plan, for organization, or reorganization,
as the case may be.
No such opportunity has exist
questions of Government, rather
than a continuance of the one
party plan where the campaigns
are confined solely to a discussion
of the merits or demerits
of the candidates them
