Jessica Snelling said someone entered her vehicle and removed the faceplate from her CD player. The player and the surrounding dashboard area were damaged. Estimated ' damage: $200. Reporting officer: J. Coaxum. S ASSAULT AND BATTERY, WILLIAMS-BRICE STADIUM. (OFF MAP) Ryan Layne and witnesses said Julius Luvall grabbed Layne and pushed him down. Reporting officer: N. Beza. © SUSPICIOUS FIRE, C WING, 300 MAIN ST. Reporting officers J. Simmons and B. Timbers responded to a complaint of ash and soot. Remnants of toilet paper were found, and a bathroom was damaged. Estimated damage: $200. B CRIMINAL DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, KOGER CENTER, 815 ASSEMBLY ST. Lucinda Smith said John Edmonds, her former live-in boyfriend, shoyed her twice and hit her face. Laura Walker said someone broke her window but did not take anything. Estimated damage: $100. Reporting officer: J. Beverly Forrest said someone wearing all black broke the window of her vehicle and removed some wires. Estimated value: $80. Reporting officer: C. Taylor. © FOUND PROPERTY, PRESIDENTS HOUSE, 902 SUMTER ST. Reporting officers J. Whitlock and J. Merrill, responding to a call, found a gamecock tied to a pole in front of the President’s House. The bird was taken into safekeeping. @ AUTO BREAK-IN, LARCENY OF CDS, S-24 LOT, 1700 PENDLETON ST. Lauren Gregory said someone broke the window of her car and took a CD stereo and 200 CDs. Bakari Burton said someone broke the window of his vehicle and took a CD stereo, 25 CDs and one textbook. Estimated value: $765. Reporting officer: J. Clarke. @ SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY, ADDAM’S BOOKSTORE, MAIN AND BLOSSOM STREETS. Reporting officer Sgt. M. Gooding found Richard Duzlak and William Clark, who were selling stolen speakers at the Law School, at Addam’s Bookstore. The rental contract of their vehicle was overdue and not in either of their names; the vehicle was towed, and the property was secured. Tuesday, Nov. 5 © INFORMATION, BLOSSOM STREET GARAGE, 1300 BLOSSOM ST. Ashley Jones said someone followed her in the garage, matching her pace.
