The victim said someone damaged the driver’s side rearview mirror of his 1998 green Chevrolet S-10 while it was at the Coliseum. Damage didn’t appear to be accidental. Estimate damage: $250. Reporting officer: J. R. Merrill, o LARCENY OF JACKET, 701 ASSEMBLY ST. The complainant said someone took her black nylon windbreaker jacket. Estimated value: $50. Reporting officer: J. R. Merrill. ® LARCENY OF MONEY, 611 MARION ST. The victim said someone took 10 $20 bills from his unlocked McBryde dorm room. Value: $200. Reporting officer: E. Pereira. ® AUTO BREAK-IN, LARCENY OF TEXTBOOKS,902 BARNWELL ST. The complainant said someone broke the left rear vent window of his 1996 white Toyota and entered his vehicle. The following items were missing: 40 CDs, a red Polo sweater, a pair of Polo jeans, two Banana Republic sweaters, four towels and assorted textbooks. Estimated value: $1,220. Reporting officer: M. P. Craska. ® INFORMATION, 1600 PENDLETON ST. The victim said someone took two tablets of his prescription medication from his locked, unattended room. The victim didn’t want to pursue the matter. EMS transported the victim to Baptist Emergency Room. Reporting officer: J. D. Rosier. © ASSISTING OTHER AGENCY, 301 ASSEMBLY ST. The subject robbed The Pantry. Officer Jesse D. Rosier saw the subject run down the street, enter the Ml parking lot and jump in the back of a pickup truck and lay down. Rosier pulled into the parking lot as Investigator Young arrived. The subject was ordered out of the truck at gunpoint, handcuffed and turned over to the Columbia Police Department. © LARCENY OF DECAL, 1300 BLOSSOM ST. The complainant said someone removed his parking decal from his vehicle parked in the Blossom Street garage. Estimate value: $5. Reporting officer: R. Scott. © ASSISTANCE RENDERED, 1521 GREENEST. Officer C.N. Ettenger observed the victim unsteady on his feet. When Ettenger approached, the victim had blood on his right hand. The victim said he had fallen and cut his hand on a rock. The victim said he had also hit his head on the ground when he fell. First responder and EMS responded and transported the victim to Lexington Medical Center. 0 DISORDERLY CONDUCT, 1600 BLOSSOM ST. Officer Merrill said the subject walking erratically on the sidewalk. On two occasions, the subject nearly stumbled into the roadway. Upon approach, Merrill noticed a strong odor of alcohol about his person and breath. His speech was also slurred. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct and transported to the Richland County Detention Center. Reporting officer: J. R. Merrill. ® DISORDERLY CONDUCT, 1320 HEYWARD ST. Officers Ettenger and Pereira responded to a fight in progress at the Roost. The officers found subject one and subject two unsteady on their feet, with a strong odor of alcohol on their persons. t Both were uncooperative with the officers and used obscene language. Both were arrested for disorderly conduct. Reporting officers: C. N. Ettenger and E. Pereira. Friday, Jan. 18 0 MALICIOUS INJURY TO PERSONAL PROPERTY, 900 ASSEMBLY ST. The complainant said someone broke the area around the lock on her door. Reporting officer: J. D. Patterson. © ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE, 1215 BLOSSOM ST. An officer at the M + N Lounge heard a noise in the common area. She saw a man leaving the area. Officer J.R. Merrill spoke with the subject, who said he accidentally caused a vending machine to tip over on its front side. The subject was referred to the Office of Student Judicial Affairs. Announcing the...
