Getzin and his wife, Andrea, have two children: Sara Rose (4) and Erin Eliz abeth (1). Wallace from page 9 it. They believe they are the best team in the nation. After the team swept Auburn in the first SEC series of the year, they convinced themselves that they were that good. And after two consecutive sweeps of Alabama and Mississippi State, the Gamecocks convinced the nation that they were that good. Now finally, af ter disposing of the Tigers in a game that was never really in doubt, they might just have convinced the group of people who really matter most: their fans. The Tigers proved to be mofe then a hump. They were a mogul. Every Carolina fan knew the team could beat Clemson, but in the back of ourminds, no doubt, we all had that fear of “What if they beat us again?,” which is usu ally followed with “Man, I hate Clem son....” But, like a skier who has no fear, Carolina jumped over the big orange mogul that has haunted them for so long. And now, finally, Carolina can go on and keep convincing everyone else that they are for real. ' That is, until next Wednesday, when the two teams meet again.
