All the various methods of fertiliza tion were discussed and the pecu liar'construction of a large num ber of plants was shown. Throngh ut, the speaker in a simple and easy manner, held the close at ention of his hearers who mani fested the deepest interest in the interesting subject he was dis ussing. It was a great pity that more were prevented by the un avorableness of the weather from spending an hour in this study of plants.
