Mr. Spigner, who has been ill, is now improving. Miss Minnie Leitner, of Jen nings, is now visiting her sister, Mrs. Ida Robinson, of Monticello. Our weekly prayer-meeting at Bethel was conducted on last hursday evening by Rev. R. W. Spigner, who gave us a good and earnest talk on "The Betrayal of iesus." Brown and family are going to move to Sumter soon. The Bear Creek high school is getting on nicely under the man agement of our respected instruc tor, Mr. W. H. Sligh, of Columbia.
