They returned to Greenville yesterday afternoon but will como hack to Anderson today to make fur ther Investigation?. These men came couth to Investi gate the ?trikes at li o .luis?n mill in Greenville and at the Brogon nilli In AnderHon. They represent the United State'! department of com merce and labor, and their trip'ls morely for Investigation nnd not for soitlemont directly. .Mossrs. Colpoys and Hnnhclm ar rived In Greenville last Friday uni since that tlmt* have been Investigat ing both sides of the Judson mill trouble. These gentlemen gather up all tho factB nu besvi thev can by talk ing witta t!ie operatives and the mill management. They then report to Washington tho result of their Inves tigations. Since tho arrival of those men In Greenville the Judson mill has resumed operations hut it is not known whether their trip had any thing to do with this. In Anderson these gentlemen will confer with both the mill manage ment and tho operatives and wi!! at tempt to get at the bottom of the wholo matter. Whether their trip will result in a settlement remains to bo scon.
